UFC bantamweights Ailin Perez and Norma Dumont continue their public spat following a disputed decision at UFC Vegas 121.

Ailin Perez defeated Norma Dumont via unanimous decision at the Apex last weekend. This marks Perez's seventh straight win since her UFC debut loss in September 2022.

However, many observers felt Dumont was underserved by the judges, despite Perez's time in control and stronger grappling. Dumont appeared surprised by the outcome and nearly confronted Perez in the Octagon post-fight.

The animosity between the fighters did not subside after the event, with both exchanging barbs on social media.

Perez's remarks followed Dumont's own social media comments about the fight. Dumont stated: "I was going at it with her, trading blows and talking trash the whole time. She was desperate. She didn’t have a prayer against me. I’m at peace and fully confident that I won. There’s not a shadow of a doubt. She knows it too; that’s why she was so desperate. Honestly, considering the absurd things I’ve seen in MMA regarding results, I didn’t think it would go my way."

Dumont was looking to rebound from a loss to Joselyne Edwards in April. Perez, meanwhile, continues her climb in the bantamweight division with recent victories over Macy Chiasson and Karol Rosa.
